Understood Betsy, Dorothy Canfield

August 19, 2013

A perfectly nice book for young readers about finding a place that feels like home; my favorite part, though, was probably the illustrations by Catherine Barnes in the old edition I picked up.  (For some notes on a Canfield novel for adults, see a few thoughts on The Deepening Stream .)
