One of our favorite spots in LIC is Coffeed, a cafe on Northern Boulevard. It's tied to Brooklyn Grange, an urban farm set up on a Queens rooftop; today, they opened the roof up for visitors, and we took a look. They sell some of the produce---we got some sorrel, a tart and lemony green, and chives, which were topped with pretty purple buds. Great place, great view.
