Fun at the fair

September 21, 2014

Headed down to the Washington State Fair yesterday: a somewhat frenetic scene, with crowds thronging the livestock competitions, cluttering the hobby hall, and clogging the midway. Amid the many attractions, I was entranced by these disquieting murals, which ostensibly aimed to lure visitors to the roller coaster. Have an elephant ear, then strap yourself in for a ride!
